It’s the time of year when Oppo introduces its Reno series. This time it is going to be the Oppo Reno 10 series. The two devices from the Reno 10 series are spotted on Geekbench. These two devices are Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro Plus 5G. Oppo is planning to launch them globally in July. According to some rumors, three color options will be available: Purple, Blue and Black. Some differences from the Chinese counterpart may be spotted in the global version, like in the chipset. According to some rumors, they are 5G devices. Both mobile phones will have pre-installed Android 13 OS with the Color OS 13 skin.
Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro Plus 5G show some similarities in display, battery, etc. There are some speculations about the Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro Plus 5G specifications. The display in both devices will be a 6.74-inch OLED curved panel with a 1.5K resolution. It will have a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate function. The peak brightness of the Oppo mobile 10 Pro plus will be 1400 nits, while the base model will have 900 nits peak brightness.
The three camera systems on both devices feature the primary Sony IMX890 50MP lens. Oppo’s new mobile Reno 10 Pro Plus, along with 50MP main camera, will have 64MP telephoto and 8MP ultra-wide sensors. Telephoto sensors can zoom optically by 3x and digitally by 120x. Oppo phone 10 Pro replaces the 64MP camera sensor with 32MP as it’s a lower version.
The Chinese version of Reno 10 pro has a Dimensity 8200 chipset, but on Geekbench, it appears that the global version will be equipped with the Snapdragon 778G, which scored 794 and 2847 points in single-core and multiple-core, respectively. While the Reno 10 Pro Plus, which will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, scored 1070 and 3666 points in single-core and multiple cores, respectively.
The model number of both devices on Geekbench is CPH2525 and CPH2521. Both new mobiles will have 12GB of RAM and multiple storage options. Oppo’s new phone, Reno 10 Pro, will come with a 4600 mAh battery with an 80W fast charging option, and the upper model Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus will have a slightly bigger battery of 4700 mAh and a 100W fast charging option.
