Samsung Galaxy A series is quite famous among its users as it offers mobile in every price range from affordable to expensive. Samsung updates this series every year. With the launch of Samsung Galaxy A14, A34 and A54, the A series has already left an impact on the market. Now the Korean launched a device in the mid-range segment: Samsung Galaxy A24. It offers specs and features which are very good according to the price tag.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy A24 in Pakistan is 83,500. Samsung Mobile launched the 4G version of A24 in Pakistan. So, unfortunately, it is not the Samsung 5G phone. But it comes with the latest Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and the side-mounted fingerprint sensor is also given for security purposes. The device is offered in four colors: Black, Lime Green, Dark Red and Gradient.
Galaxy A24 is quite different from its predecessor, A23, in terms of design as it has an infinity u water drop notch for selfie cameras. And on the back, separate cutouts are present for each camera sensor instead of the camera island. It’s good because the device looks similar to the Samsung flagship S23 series due to camera cutouts.
This time a 13MP selfie shooter is given on the front, which can record 1080p videos. It’s a decent improvement, as users can get more sharp images now. While at the back, a 50MP wide unit acts as a primary camera, which comes with PDAF and OIS. It can record 1080p videos at 30 frame rates. With this, 5MP and 2MP sensors are also provided for ultra-wide and depth shoots.
Samsung, this time, introduced an AMOLED display instead of an IPS LCD, which is an impressive move by the mobile giant. This 6.5-inch large FHD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate feels buttery smooth in day-to-day scrolling. Thanks to the AMOLED panel, the peak brightness of A24 can touch 1000 nits.
The new Samsung mobile is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The chipset is supported by 6GB of RAM. Two internal storage options are available to choose 128 and 256GB. The Samsung phone Galaxy A24 runs on Android 13 and oneUI 5.1. Under the lid 5000 mAh battery is embedded, which is charged by the 25W fast charger through a type C port.
Overall it’s a decent device design-wise and offers some good features. It competes with some upper mid-range devices of other companies. What do you think about this unique device? Tell us below in the comment section.
