Vivo Y22 launched in the global markets back in September 2022. The Global Y22 version brings two storage options of 4GB and 6GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB ROM. The smartphone entered Pakistan in early 2023 with a 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant. Vivo is again introducing the Y22, another variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Firstly, Vivo set the price for Y22 as PKR 79,999, which later dropped by PKR 5000, and the new price for Vivo Y22 is PKR 74,999.
Vivo’s mobile Y22 comes in two colors Starlit Blue and Metaverse Green. Dimension-wise, it has a 164.30 × 76.10 × 8.38mm size and 190-gram weight. The Android phone is made of glass front and plastic back. It runs on Android 12 Funtouch OS 12.
Y22 supports the 5000 mAh large battery and 18W fast charging. The 18W charging fills 70% of the battery in only 80 minutes. In terms of display, the IPS LCD has a 6.55-inch size which is capacitive multi-touch. With 1612 × 720 pixels HD resolution, the Vivo new mobile Y22 brings an 89% screen-to-body ratio.
The mid-range phone Y22 4G carries two rear cameras of 50-megapixel and 2-megapixel. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel selfie shooter camera. A MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and an octa-core processor power the Vivo phone. The Vivo new phone houses the Mali-MC2 GPU to fulfill the need for HD graphics. The budget-friendly phone Y22 has almost the exact specification as the previous model. The 4G smartphone will give the tough time to Samsung Galaxy A14, Xiaomi Redmi 12C, Infinix Hot 30 and Honor X6.
