Xiaomi Poco has added another phone in its C-series which belongs to the entry level segment means it will not break the bank. The new Xiaomi Poco C65 which is the successor of C55 which was introduced last year. The Xiaomi mobile is priced at $129 (6/128GB), and $149 (8/256GB) and the expected Poco C65 price in Pakistan is 39,999 Rupees.
Poco has been part of Chinese Giant Xiaomi and now it is working as Xiaomi’s sub company. There are speculations that Poco C65 is the rebranded version of Redmi 13C but there is no confirmation. Anyhow, C65 is a blend of sleek design and decent specs. It is available in a trio of colors which include Purple, Black and Blue. The protruding cameras and flat edges really gives a unique look to the handset. The dimensions of this device are 168 x 78 x 8.09 mm and it weighs around 192 grams. The plastic built contributes to lightness and thinness of the Poco C65. A side mounted fingerprint scanner is incorporated in the power button. As far as connectivity is concerned, It is not the Xiaomi phone Poco 5G mobile, but it has 4G LTE only. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC. Xiaomi new mobile C65 features USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone Jack also.
Poco phone C65 draws its power from Mediatek Helio G85 (12nm) which is a low-end chipset but can handle basic things very well. The octa-core processor works with ARM Mali G52 GPU and 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM. There are also two storage options; 128GB and 256GB. It can be further extended up to 1TB courtesy of the microSD slot. The android smartphone C65 comes with Android 13 out of the box.
The new mobile phone ships with a 6.74 inch IPS LCD display. It is a HD+ panel (720 x 1600 pixel) with 90 Hz high refresh rate. Apart from this high refresh rate, other good things about this screen is TUV certification and DC dimming which protects the user’s eyes from blue light. The peak brightness attained by this display is 600 nits. Twist the phone and there is a camera department. The 50 MP primary wide sensor is the highlight of this set up. The 2 MP macro lens is the second one at the back. Around the front, the water drop notch houses an 8 MP snapper which features soft light to manage low light conditions. This camera system is capable of producing decent photos and shooting stable HD videos. To run this whole machine, Xiaomi Poco C65 is equipped with a big 5000 mAh battery which offers 18W fast charging speed.
