Honor X9b quietly launched in Saudi Arabia. Honor’s official website added X9b, the predecessor of X9a, launched in January 2023. The device features a trio of colors: Emerald Green, Orange, and Midnight Black. The one with the orange shade comes with vegan leather at the back and can attract users who prefer a simple yet premium look.
Honor mobile X9b 5G is heavy in features and built quality. According to Honor, the Ultra-Bouncy Anti-Drop building material has pores that decrease the impact force when a mobile hits something. Honor shows the same concern on the front, as multiple layers lie before the main panel. The fusion of 1920 Hz PWM dimming and Circadian Night Mode protects the user’s eyes, which are the main target of blue light. Though major specs of the Honor phone X9b are going to be discussed, there is also some extra spice in the form of 5G connectivity, an in-display Fingerprint scanner, the latest Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
Honor 5G phone X9b boasts a 108 MP primary sensor at the back, which can produce pictures that can be zoomed up to 3x without losing quality and can also record 4K videos at 30 FPS. To cover more Field of view, a 13 MP ultra-wide snapper and a 2 MP shooter for macro photography are given. There is a 16 MP front-facing selfie camera for selfies and video chats. The display of X9b also packs some good things like a 120Hz refresh rate, 431 ppi pixel density, 1920 Hz PWM dimming, and 1200 nits peak brightness under direct sunlight. It is a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED panel that offers 1.5K resolution. So good details with vivid colors and fluency are expected from it. On to the powering unit, Honor new mobile X9b flaunts the latest generation snapdragon 6 Gen 1 from Qualcomm with an octa-core CPU. It is coupled with an Adreno 710 GPU, which handles graphical work. The smartphone is offered in one configuration only in memory: 12/128GB. The Virtual RAM option can add an extra 8GB RAM in time of need. To keep the system running, a big 5800 mAh battery resides under the lid, which is one of a kind. It is paired with a 35W fast charging speed to provide decent battery backup. The Honor 5G mobile software is MagicOS 7.2, based on Android 13.
